Advertising Policy

AnimeAnchor is designed to stay readable first. Ads are currently disabled by default and only appear when `PUBLIC_SHOW_ADS=true` is set for preview or production.

Allowed Placements

Standard display ads may appear between major sections, in side rails, or after content blocks. Ads should not interrupt episode, movie, or character summary text.

Popup Rule

Floating or popup placements are reserved for owned promotions only. Do not place Google AdSense or similar third-party ad code inside popup or floating ad units.

Disclosure

Paid placements, affiliate links, or sponsored modules should be clearly labeled. Editorial content should not be changed in exchange for payment.

Launch Toggle

Keep ads hidden until policy review, consent configuration, and production ad approvals are complete.
