AnimeAnchor Policy

Advertising Policy

AnimeAnchor may use display advertising to fund hosting, data work, and product maintenance. Ads are labeled and kept separate from summaries, episode lists, and navigation controls.

Allowed Placements

Standard display ads may appear between major sections, in side rails, or after content blocks. Ads should not interrupt episode, movie, or character summary text.

Popup Rule

Floating or popup placements are reserved for owned promotions only. Do not place Google AdSense or similar third-party ad code inside popup or floating ad units.

Disclosure

Paid placements, affiliate links, or sponsored modules should be clearly labeled. Editorial content should not be changed in exchange for payment.

Editorial Independence

Advertisers do not receive different search placement, canon or filler labels, summaries, rankings, or source treatment. Advertising is separated from editorial decisions and catalog corrections.

Privacy Controls

Advertising storage and personalization remain disabled until the required consent process is available. Where Google policy requires a certified consent management platform, ads must not be enabled until that platform is active. Visitors can review data practices and opt-out links in the privacy policy.
