The World That Luffy Wants!

As he clashes with Luffy, Kaido's past is revealed. Being raised in Vodka Kingdom, a kingdom forced to steal from other nations to afford membership in the World Government, he entered the army and became its strongest asset at the age of ten. However, his king sold him against his will to the Marines in order to be able to attend the Reverie. Kaido attacked the Marine battleship carrying him, becoming wanted by the World Government. Becoming a wanted fugitive, he would allow himself to get captured by authorities multiple times, eat the food on the battleships, then escape with ease each time. Eventually, at age 15 he was invited by Whitebeard into the Rocks Pirates, further contributing to the crew's feared reputation. However, the Rocks Pirates faced a defeat in God Valley at the hands of Garp, killing Rocks and dismantling the crew. Kaido formed his own crew, the Beast Pirates, and 10 years after Rocks' death formed a coalition with the Kurozumi Family to occupied the Land of Wano. The Beasts Pirates sought to abolish the World Government's nobility system and create a world where prestige was determined by war. Later, he confides to King that he overheard Yamato mentioning "Joy Boy," and if he is the person King is waiting for, then he knows exactly who he is. In the present day, as the last CP0 agent flees the island, the allied forces in the Skull Dome work together to survive the flood created by Raizo. In the Treasure Repository, Denjiro commends Hiyori for enduring her suffering for so long for this moment, which brings her to tears. Meanwhile, with increased determination, Momonosuke successfully creates his own Flame Clouds, using them to move Onigashima away from the Flower Capital. In one final clash, Kaido asks Luffy what world he wanted to create. Luffy responds by claiming he would create a world where his friends could smile and eat their fill everyday. He breaks through Kaido's flame coating, then strikes him with an island-size Ryuo-infused punch to the face, sending him falling below. Luffy floats victorious as wishes of salvation from Wano's citizens rise up around him. As his unconscious body falls into an abyss, his left horn broken off, Kaido remembers a previous conversation he had with King, where he claimed that Joy Boy himself would be the one who would defeat him. Having succeeded in their tasks, Luffy and Momonosuke both collapse from exhaustion.
