Death to Your Partner! Killer's Deadly Gamble!

Killer continues his battle against Hawkins, but the battle is not in his favor. With his Devil Fruit abilities, total immunity from Killer's attacks, with the damage inflicted being redirected to Kid, Hawkins begins to mock Killer upon learning he ate a defective SMILE Fruit. Members of the Kid Pirates arrive to Killer's aid, but he forbids them from attacking Hawkins, telling them the situation. As Killer refuses to fight back, Hawkins decides to harm Kid himself. As he fights Big Mom, Kid head starts to feel severe pain, proving especially disadvantageous to Law, who struggles to fight and protect Kid. Kid's pain is caused by Hawkins repeatedly slamming his head into a pillar, redirecting the pain to Kid. Desperate, Killer offers his life in exchange for Kid's, but Hawkins refuses further claiming that all of Killer's suffering was caused by Kid's refusal to submit to Kaido before an offer to Killer to join the Beast Pirates if he surrenders. Killer refuses, calling Hawkins out for his own regret for not standing up to Kaido before declaring that Kid will become the King of the Pirates. This angers Hawkins, causing him to ruthlessly beat Killer. Killer gets back up and asks Hawkins what will happen if he takes damage that has nowhere to go. Then with a single attack, Killer slices off Hawkins' left arm. As Hawkins writhes in pain, questioning why the attack worked, Killer reminds him Kid already lost his left arm, meaning the damage had nowhere to be transferred to. Killer pulls the straw doll out of Hawkins' severed arm and destroys it, undoing the damage dealt to Kid's body. Hawkins no longer has any people left to redirect damage to and is now completely vulnerable to attacks. In a last-ditch effort, Hawkins uses his Strawman Cards. He reveals the "Death" card upright, summoning a giant straw monster, but Killer decapitates the monster, instantly destroying it. Hawkins draws a second card, only to find to his horror that he drew the "Tower" card. With this, Killer slices Hawkins with Spin & Sonic, defeating him and causing him to collapse. The narrator explains the "Tower" card is assigned two meanings: the death of the old and a new path. Sure enough, once Hawkins falls, Kid says he feels better now as Killer cheers him on.
